EWR-TD03 2-in-1 Wheelchair Ramp

The new EWR-TD03 2-in-1 Wheelchair Ramp is a brand-new product from Xinder-tech, primarily designed for use in urban low-floor buses. The ramp is installed beneath the floor, allowing wheelchair passengers to easily board and alight without affecting other passengers' entry and exit, and it does not occupy space inside the vehicle.

Technical Parameter

This product combines the flip ramp and the telescopic ramp into one unit. The upper end features a manually operated flip ramp that is level with the bus floor, while the lower end consists of a manual/electric telescopic ramp controlled by a standard button switch installed on the dashboard. Customers can choose between the two options based on their usage scenarios. The ramp is made from aluminum, honeycomb aluminum panels, and stainless steel, making it lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant. The surface has been treated for slip resistance and includes features such as obstacle detection stop, gravity sensing, and manual emergency operation. It also meets the requirements of the GB-13094-2017 "Safety Requirements for Bus Structures" standard


  • Slip Resistance on the Platform: Both the telescopic ramp and the flip ramp surfaces use 3M black anti-slip tape, with abrasive mineral particles providing a stable non-slip surface.

  • Interlock Function for the Door: The ramp can only operate when the vehicle is stopped and the door is open, preventing the ramp from extending while the vehicle is in motion, thus avoiding accidents.

  • Manual Emergency Function: In the event of a power failure or malfunction, the ramp can be manually retracted into the housing.

  • Obstacle Detection Stop Function: If the ramp encounters a resistance of no more than 150N while extending, its movement will stop. The peak resistance can exceed 150N for a short duration but must not exceed 300N.

  • Weight Sensing: When the platform extends, if an object weighing more than 15KG is detected on the platform, the ramp will stop moving for safety reasons; at this point, a buzzer will sound continuously, and a light will remain on.

  • Audible and Visual Alarm: The ramp operation is accompanied by an audible alarm and flashing lights to alert nearby individuals.

  • Circuit Protection Function: In the event of a short circuit or reverse polarity caused by wiring errors, the product's circuit is protected from damage.

  • Low Power Consumption in Sleep Mode: During sleep standby, the static current equivalent is <0.2mA, reducing battery drain on the vehicle.


National Standard High and Low Temperature Testing:

GBT 2423.1-2008 Environmental Testing for Electric and Electronic Products - Part 2: Testing Methods - Test B: Low Temperature/Low Temperature. The device is placed in temperature chambers at 85°C and -40°C for 8 hours without operation. After removal, testing is conducted immediately, and the basic performance meets the design requirements, with normal operation.


EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing:

ECE R10 Unified Regulations for the Approval of Vehicles Regarding Electromagnetic Compatibility, aimed at ensuring that automotive electronic devices do not interfere with the normal operation of the vehicle itself or other electronic devices during normal use.


Vehicle Body Structure Standards (European Standard):

ECE R107 Unified Regulations for the Approval of M2 and M3 Class Vehicles Regarding General Structural Aspects. The slope of ramps for passengers with reduced mobility (3.5) between aisles, passageways, or any priority seats or wheelchair areas, as well as the slope of at least one entrance and exit or mixed access, should be ≤8%. All these sloped areas must have a non-slip surface.
